For more than 40 years we have been developing and producing in Germany with 200 highly qualified employees innovative solenoid valves and valve manifolds according to customer requirements. At our site in Erligheim (nearby Stuttgart) we manufacture everything from one single piece over serial production up to mass production. Hereby we also create all necessary manufacturing and testing devices in house. This unique know how enables us to develop cost efficient high-tech solutions, which create a real competitive advantage for our customers. It is therefore no coincidence that our customers are global market leaders of the Medical Technology, Automotive, Industrial, Pneumatics, Aeronautics and last but not least Drinking Water industries.

Spider μProp® valves & fluidic systems
We have brought all our competencies to embed all the key features of our Spider technology in a new proportional valves series: the Spider μProp®. Already successful used in Respiratory, Fuel cell systems or in electronic Flow Regulators, the Spider μProp® may be controlled using DC current or PWM in open or closed loop control.
Spider HiProp® Pressure-balanced proportional valve
This valve combines the advantages of the Spider-μProp® technology with the benefits of a pressure balanced valve. Due to its large orifice, high flow rates are possible. Furthermore, the valve is distinguished by a high reproducibility of the lift-off point. The electrical power consumption lies thereby in the lowest range of the Plate Armature Technology. The compact design of the valve provides a variety of assembly options for different areas of application.
Instead of having a plunger which moves through a coil, Spider®-Valves have a flat armature that is pulled against the magnetic yoke in the energized position. The flat armature is fastened together with a leaf spring that presses the integrated sealing element against the valve seat in the de-energized position.
With the media-separated micro valve by STAIGER, we are offering a valve that features extremely small size and can carve out its own space in almost any application. In these valves, a separating membrane completely isolates the magnetic system so that the medium comes into contact only with the membrane and the valve body itself. Only inert materials that excel with adequate bio-compatibility, e.g., are used. The components which come into contact with the medium are manufactured from stainless steel 1.4305. The membrane is made from EPDM or FKM suitable for such applications. Through the structural design, an extremely small internal dead volume of only 1.4 µl is achieved. This ensures that there is no mixing of different reagents or media, which could e. g. otherwise collect in unrinsed nooks of the valve and thus lead to incorrect results. The valve can easily be integrated into a block of control elements due to the design of the cartridge.
